Future Prophesies - the Stage is Set (Can Happen Any Day)
IMAGE OF THE BEAST

Revelation 13:11-18 - The Beast from the Earth [False Prophet]

Rev 13:11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

What is the image of the beast?

https://www.gotquestions.org/image-of-the-beast.html

The book of Revelation contains an apocalyptic vision of two beasts emerging from the sea and land to take control of the world. It’s in this vision (in Revelation 13) that the image of the beast is first mentioned.

The first beast is a ten-horned, seven-headed monstrosity empowered and given authority by a dragon (Revelation 13:1–2). One of the heads is mortally wounded but is healed (verse 3). The beast is blasphemous against God and actively persecutes God’s people on earth (verses 5–7). It not only rules the world but receives the worship of the world’s inhabitants (verses 4, 7–8). The first beast is a symbolic picture of the Antichrist, and the dragon is Satan (cf. Revelation 12:9).

The second beast is a two-horned, deceptively benign creature that shares authority with the first beast (Revelation 13:11–12). The task of the second beast is to cause everyone to worship the first beast. As the second beast deceives the world with miracles, it orders that everyone “set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived” (verse 14). It also requires that everyone receive the mark of the beast in their forehead or right hand (verses 16–17). The second beast is a symbolic picture of the false prophet.

The Bible does not provide many details concerning the image of the beast. We know this, however: the false prophet will have “power to give breath to the image of the first beast so that the image could speak” (Revelation 13:15). This breathing, speaking image of the beast will then demand worship. Anyone who refuses to worship the image of the beast will be killed. Revelation 20:4 says that the mode of execution for those who do not worship the image of the beast is beheading. It is likely that the image of the beast is the “abomination that causes desolation” in the rebuilt temple, mentioned in Daniel 9:27 and Matthew 24:15.

What exactly is the nature of the image of the beast? The Bible does not say. The old speculation was that the image of the beast is a statue given the appearance of life. With the rise of new technologies come new theories, including a hologram, an android, a cyborg, a human-animal hybrid, or a human clone. Whatever it is, the image of the beast is the focal point of worship in the “religion of the beast” during the second half of the tribulation. Bowing to the image of the beast is how the deceived people of the world will worship the “man of lawlessness” (2 Thessalonians 2:3) who sets himself up as a god in the temple of Jerusalem (2 Thessalonians 2:4).

Those who do not worship the image of the beast will suffer the wrath of the Antichrist. But those who do worship the image of the beast will suffer the wrath of God, which is far worse: “If anyone worships the beast and its image . . . they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur. . . . And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image” (Revelation 14:9–11). The first of God’s bowl judgments is aimed specifically at the worshipers of the image of the beast: “The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image” (Revelation 16:2).

Those who refuse to bow the knee to the Antichrist and the image of the beast may be persecuted on earth, but they will be rewarded in heaven: “I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God and sang” (Revelation 15:2–3). The image of the beast is front-and-center in the nightmarish kingdom of Satan, but it will not last. The Bible specifies forty-two months, or three-and-a-half years, that the Antichrist will have worldwide influence (Revelation 13:5). After that, the image of the beast will be destroyed, the two beasts will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 19:20), Satan will be bound (Revelation 20:1–3), and the Lord Jesus will establish His unending kingdom of perfection (Isaiah 9:7Luke 1:32–33).

The Giant

The Giant

THE GIANT IS THE CUTTING-EDGE VISITOR ATTRACTION FOR THE 21ST CENTURY.

It imaginatively integrates the fun and engagement of a family entertainment centre, the artistic and educational features of a museum and the rewarding sense of personal discovery of an inspiring motivational experience.  The Giant is also an iconic civic landmark, impressive in scale and design and magically transforms itself to celebrate the renowned heroes and citizens of the city and country it’s located in.  As the world’s tallest moving sculpture. Visitors can scale the thirty-five meter (minimum) high statue and literally stand on the shoulders of a giant – a remarkable vantage from which to view the city and the surrounding environs.

Pause at time stamp 3:38 and see the giant monster (think image of the antichrist) on the left and the white horse coming from the clouds.

Giant “shape-shifting” statue that speaks and moves could be coming to 21 cities across America soon

https://endtimeheadlines.org/2021/06/giant-shape-shifting-statue-that-speaks-and-moves-could-be-coming-to-21-cities-across-america-soon/

Could you imagine watching a 10-story tall Beyoncé perform on Grand Ave? What about John Lennon on Van Buren or a much larger-than-life Larry Fitzgerald near State Farm Stadium?

The possibilities are endless if a European group’s plans come together. A company in Ireland is hoping to bring the world’s tallest moving statue to 21 cities in 2021, including Phoenix. Called “The Giant” it’s a programmable, moving statue that’s 10-stories tall and covered with millions of LED pixels that allow it to take the form of any person — even Spider-Man.

According to a press release, The Giant’s arms and head can move in multiple directions and would change shape every hour as crowds gather below. The Giant can take on any image so you could even find yourself featured, talk about the ultimate selfie. The statue can also sing and speak.

OK - So it moves and talks, but it doesn't kill people (yet).  BUT, we have the AI technology for it to do that!

Researchers built an AI that recognizes and rewards good doggos

Did you know that Satan has always had the ability to call down fire from heaven?

Job 1:16 While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”

A Few Thoughts about The Giant

Could a worldwide sculpture campaign have a connection to the Antichrist?

Giant.png

Many of you in this community have asked me to comment about The Giant, a planned 10-story movable statue proposed by an entrepreneur and architecture studio in Ireland.

Before I share my opinion, let me first describe this project. So far, these statues do not yet exist. They are in the early stages of development and are being designed by an architectural studio in Berlin, with engineering assistance from a separate international advisory firm. The company behind the project is called The Giant Company and is led by a man named Paddy Dunning.

According to a press release by The Giant Company, this piece of public art is designed to be “one of the most exciting visitor attraction concepts of the 21st century” and was inspired by the 18th century novel Gulliver’s Travels. That book is about a traveler who has a shipwreck and lands on an island where six-inch high people live, making him a giant. Among other things, he helps the people solve problems and resolve conflicts with their primary enemy.

Moving, talking statues worldwide

The Giant Company is hoping to install this art project in 21 cities around the globe. Here’s how they describe it:

The Giant’s arms and head can move to a diversity of positions and its patented skin, a matrix of millions of programmable LED pixels gives it the ability to instantly take the form of any man or woman, boy or girl from historical figures such as Albert Einstein or Amelia Earhart to stars of today from Lionel Messi to Beyoncé. Every hour The Giant will transform itself into an exemplary man or woman and will also have the ability to speak or sing to the crowds that gather below.

Visitors who consent to have their own bodies scanned inside the attraction’s exhibition space can have their photos uploaded onto the statue “resulting in the world’s most spectacular selfie.” The company expects each Giant to draw 500,000 visitors a year and generate millions of dollars in local revenue.

But the Giant seems to be more than a photo opportunity or an attraction to boost the local economy:

More than a visual wonder, visitors to the attraction will explore several fully immersive exhibits that feature state-of-the-art technologies including augmented and virtual reality, robotics and artificial intelligence. The exhibits are designed to be surprising, entertaining, educational and engaging for all age groups.

That’s ambitious. Here’s how Paddy Dunning explains his vision for The Giant:

“We are now seeking 21 sites in 21 cities by the end of 2021. The Giant will be one of the world’s most ambitious cultural and commercial projects bringing together art, amusement and wonder to create a contemporary and highly profitable business. We envision The Giant as an adjunct to new urban redevelopment projects, stadiums, arenas, shopping centers, museums and other locations; it’s going to be an awe-inspiring addition to the cities where we locate it…”

Dunning and his team are now seeking partner cities that want to install these statues. He claims he has already had interest from investors in Europe, Australia, Abu Dhabi and cities in the United States.

Only a landmark, but…

Now that I’ve described the project, what’s my opinion of it?

It’s a strange idea. I can certainly see one of these becoming a popular landmark. I can envision tourists buying tickets to visit its viewing terrace and roof garden, paying to advertise on the enormous body, and even paying to display their own body scans on it using the LED technology. I can see The Giant being used to display messages for birthdays or wedding proposals. I can definitely imagine it drawing a crowd.

None of those concepts are too controversial, other than the oddness of placing a 10-story statue in the middle of a city. I imagine it might annoy local businesses or homeowners who view it as an eyesore.

I’m not here to comment on the aesthetics of the idea.

But I do see some particularly interesting possibilities related to the end times. Here are a few of them:

The Giant’s LED pixels allow it to instantly take the form of any person. The creators describe this innocently, sharing examples like historical figures (Albert Einstein) or celebrities like Beyonce. “Each hour the Giant will transform into each country’s national heroes and celebrities,” explain the marketing materials.

The men and women appearing on the statue can speak or sing. This is not just a piece of visual art, but an immersive one. That means it doesn’t just project an image. It projects audio.

The Giant is designed to be a prominent gathering place. Its purpose is to be a literal attraction. A 10-story human figure in the middle of a city—especially a figure that moves and “speaks”—will definitely draw crowds.

It is computerized, networked and backed by artificial intelligence. The state-of-the-art technology is designed to entertain and educate all age groups. But anything based on technology is hackable.

Each of these realities makes me imagine a future scenario that perfectly aligns with Bible prophecy, specifically related to the Antichrist.

A potential tool of the Antichrist

Imagine a future in which these moving, speaking statues have been installed in cities all over the world. Imagine the Antichrist hacking into them and taking over these high-profile Giants, then using the LED skin to “take the form” of his own image. He then uses them to broadcast his own message to hundreds of thousands—or even millions—of unsuspecting people.

Could this be how he first comes to power?

Consider some of what Scripture says about the Antichrist:

  1. His appearance will get attention. Daniel 7:20 says his “appearance was greater than his fellows.” A 10-story, moving statue in the likeness of the Antichrist certainly applies here.

  2. He will magnify himself. Daniel 11:36 says he will “magnify himself above every god.” Magnify literally means to make something appear larger than it is. Again, Daniel wouldn’t have understood this at the time, but it’s easy to see this referring to a human being projected onto a worldwide network of giant, moving statues.

  3. He will speak. Daniel 11:36 also says the Antichrist will “speak blasphemies against the God of gods.” That certainly can happen with these art installations.

  4. He will have worldwide authority. Revelation 13:7 says “authority was given him over every tribe, tongue and nation.” These statues provide a simple way for him to communicate in multiple languages and in multiple places at once.

  5. He will bring temporary peace. Could the Antichrist use these talking Giants to safely negotiate a peace treaty (Daniel 9:27) from an undisclosed location? Remember, the developers’ idea came from Gulliver’s Travels, in which the giant Gulliver helps resolve conflicts.

  6. He will deceive with “signs and wonders.” According to 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, the arrival of the Antichrist will be accompanied by powerful delusions. Could the augmented reality or artificial intelligence of these Giants make that possible?

  7. He will “resurrect.” Revelation 13:3-4 says it will appear as if the Antichrist has been mortally wounded but then miraculously healed, leading to his worship. This would be easy to fake with the LED technology of the Giant.

  8. He will be worshiped globally. Revelation 13:13-14 says “He performs great signs…and he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast…” They won’t have to make an image. The graven image will already exist. The international community will only have to worship the Antichrist, who appears via giant displays worldwide.

This story is worth following. No, I’m not saying I believe Paddy Dunning is the Antichrist. I doubt he has evil plans for this idea. What I’m suggesting is that this idea, if it gains popularity and if these end up being built and installed, could easily be used by the Antichrist. In fact, the idea even aligns with Bible prophecy about how the Antichrist comes to power.

In other words, don’t minimize The Giant.

The Bible may have been written two thousand years ago, but it’s more up-to-date than today’s newspaper.

Why would Satan show us his diabolical plan?  To mimic God completely

Unholy Trinity

Make no mistake, Satan knew God, and he knew the triune nature of God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. So, in his attempt to be God and to rule over God’s new creation, like a mad, psychotic wizard, Satan crags a grotesque, distorted parody of the Trinity—a self-image—with himself as father; the antichrist as son and the false prophet as holy spirit.

While the Holy Trinity is characterized by infinite truth, love, and goodness, the unholy trinity portrays the diametrically opposite traits of deception, hatred, and unadulterated evil. Although defeated in heaven, Satan launches a new offensive against God on earth, and he vows to win this new war, with the souls of all humanity as the prize, transforming God’s creation into a living hell, with himself as king.

A common tactic of Satan is to imitate or counterfeit the things of God in order to make himself appear to be like God.

Examples

God has wise virgins (Mt 25:10)                                                      Satan has foolish virgins (Mt 25:12)

God sows good seed—wheat (Mt 13:37)                                      Satan sows bad seed—tares (Mt 13:25)

Christ has the true vine (Jn 15:1-8)                                                 Satan has the vine of the earth (Rev 14:19)

Christ has a bride—saved people (Eph 5:22-32)                           Antichrist has a harlot—unsaved people (Rev 17:15)

God has a city—Jerusalem (2 Chronicles 6:6)                               Satan has a city—Babylon (Rev 18)

God has sacred stones—Urim & Thummin (Ex 28:30)                  Satan has 'magic' stones—Chakra stones

Christ is slain and resurrected (Mk 15-16)                                      Antichrist is slain and resurrected (Rev 13:3)

God changed times and seasons (Dan 2:21)                                 Antichrist will change the times (Dan 7:25)

God tells us His plan (the end from the beginning) (Is 46:10)      Satan is telling us his plan—For those who are not distracted

Holy Trinity                                                                                        Unholy Trinity
