Something Isn't Right...

What In The World Is Going On?

The Bible Has the Answers!

We are entering into the epic end-time battle - Good vs Evil and the Biblical explanations on this website will prove it!

Spoiler Alert - Good wins! Choose your side wisely...

Would you believe that the Bible talked about these days more than 2000 years ago! We are now living in Bible times!

Almost 1/3 of the Bible is prophecy.

The prophecies of the First Coming of Jesus were fulfilled literally.

Now we are watching the prophecies of the Second Coming of Jesus being fulfilled literally as well!

All the signs of the last days are converging at the same time. Bible Prophecy is happening right before our eyes and like birth pains, the predicted events are happening more frequently and more intently. Never, in the history throughout the world have so many forces, including economic, scientific, techno-logic, ecologic, cultural, geopolitical, moral, spiritual and religion, converged together to bring this world that's already teetering over the edge into the abyss, to a point of no return. Jesus said when you see all these signs happening, know that I am near, even at the door.  --Prophecy Update

What are the signs of the last days?

Matthew 24:3-14 - The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

Mt 24:3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

2 Timothy 3:1-9 - Perilous Times and Perilous Men

2Ti 3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 4:1-5 - The Great Apostasy

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Joel 2:1-11 - The Day of the Lord

Joel 2:2 A [Satanically-inspired] people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been;
Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations.

3 A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns;
The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them.
4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like swift steeds, so they run.
5 With a noise like chariots Over mountaintops they leap,
Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array.

Before them the people writhe in pain; All faces are drained of color.
They run like mighty men, They climb the wall like men of war; Every one marches in formation, And they do not break ranks.
8 They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own column.
Though they lunge between the weapons, They are not cut down.
9 They run to and fro in the city, They run on the wall; They climb into the houses, They enter at the windows like a thief.

10 The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness.
11 The Lord gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word.
For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?

... 28 “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
32 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.

Daniel 12:1-9 - Prophecy of the End Time

Dan 12:1 “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;
And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time.
And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,

Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.

... 9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

2 Peter 3:3-13 - God’s Promise Is Not Slack

2Pe 3:3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last dayswalking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

End Times Bible Prophecy: How close are we? (Patrick Quek)

End Times – Bible Prophecy, How close are we? Prophetic words written thousand years ago and taken from the most accurate Source – The Bible. As in the days of Noah so shall it be as in the days of the Coming of JESUS CHRIST! A prediction of the Coming of the “End Times”, it also describe the catastrophic events from Earthquakes, Diseases, Tsunami and the Earth groaning, in fact it is happening now, yet how much do the average Christian really know about the future God has planned for them?

In our modern world which is really comfortable, why should people care to pay attention to these ancient’s Words. Even Jesus himself warn us to “Watch and Pray so that we can be ready to identify these ‘false Teachers, false Prophets and even the Anti-Christ himself!

Almost 30% of the Holy Scriptures are devoted to Prophecy and about the End Times and how close we are to God’s final Judgement! Yet Churches all over the world: Preaching about End Times are hardly mention. Is Christ Churches dangerously unprepared for His Return? Listen to Dr. Randall Price, one of foremost American Prophecy Scholar and Author of about 20 books on this subject.

Most Christians do not believe that we live in the last moments of human history before the events of the tribulation sweep over the earth.

The reasons for this vary.

Many belong to churches that have long since rejected beliefs in the pretribulation rapture, a seven-year tribulation, and the millennial reign of Jesus. Others remain unaware of how so many signs point to the nearness of Jesus’ appearing either because their pastors do not teach biblical prophecy or when they do, they dismiss it as something irrelevant to the lives of those listening.

Some reason that there have been horrendous times in the past and the Lord did not return then. What makes today any different? Life returned to normal after the horrors and catastrophic events of WW II. What can’t that happen today?

We all feel the strong pull of normalcy, do we not? Does this not cause many to resist the thought that a prolonged period of God’s wrath is right at our door? Though it seems less and less likely with each passing day, I think we all wish for the freedoms we enjoyed before the COVID-19 lockdowns began.

What makes it so unlikely that life will return to normal? For that matter, what makes today so different from the tumultuous times in the past when the Lord did not return? These are great questions that I will endeavor to answer in this series.

What are the signs of the last days

Are we living in the end times?

https://www.gotquestions.org/living-in-the-end-times.html

The Bible prophesies of many events that will occur in the end times. These events can be categorized as natural signs, spiritual signs, sociological signs, technological signs, and political signs. We can look to what the Bible says about these things, and, if the signs are present in abundance, we can be certain that we are, in fact, living in the end times.

Luke 21:11 lists some of the natural signs that will occur before Jesus’ second coming: “There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.” While we shouldn’t interpret every natural disaster as a sign of the end times, an increase in natural disasters seems to be a warm-up to what is coming next—“birth pangs,” as Jesus called them (Matthew 24:8).

The Bible lists both positive and negative spiritual signs. In 2 Timothy 4:3–4 we discover that many people will follow false teachers. We see now an increase in cultic groups, heresy, deception, and occultism, with many choosing to follow New Age or pagan religions. On the positive side, Joel 2:28–29 prophesies that there will be a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Joel’s prophecy was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:16), and we are still seeing the effects of that outpouring in revivals and Spirit-led Christian movements, and in the worldwide preaching of the gospel message.

Along with the signs in the natural and spiritual realms, there are signs in society. The immorality rampant in society today is a symptom of mankind’s rebellion against God. Abortion, homosexuality, drug abuse, and child molestation are proof that “evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse” (2 Timothy 3:13). We are now living in a hedonistic and materialistic society. People are lovers of themselves—“looking out for number one”—and doing what is right in their own eyes. All these things, and many more, can be seen around us every day (see 2 Timothy 3:1–4).

The fulfillment of some end-times prophecies seemed impossible until the advent of modern technology. Some of the judgments in Revelation are more easily imagined in a nuclear age. In Revelation 13, the Antichrist is said to control commerce by forcing people to take the mark of the beast, and, given today’s advances in computer chip technology, the tools he will use may very well be here already. And through the internet, radio, and television, the gospel can now be proclaimed to the entire world (Mark 13:10).

And there are political signs. The restoration of Israel to her land in 1948 is the single most impressive fulfilled prophecy proving that we live in the end times. At the turn of the 20th century, no one would have dreamed that Israel would be back in her land, let alone occupying Jerusalem. Jerusalem is definitely at the center of geopolitics and stands alone against many enemies; Zechariah 12:3 confirms this: “On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.” Matthew 24:6–7 predicted that “nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” “Wars and rumors of wars” are definitely characteristic of this present age.

These are just a few of the signs that we are living in the end of the age. There are many more. God gave us these prophecies because He does not want anyone to perish, and He always gives ample warning before pouring out His wrath (2 Peter 3:9).

Are we living in the end times? No one knows when Jesus will return, but the rapture could occur at any moment. God will deal with sin either by grace or by wrath. John 3:36 says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” Those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their savior will remain under the Lord’s wrath.

The good news is that it’s not too late to choose eternal life. All that is required is acceptance, by faith, of God’s free gift of grace. There is nothing you can do to earn grace; Jesus has paid the price for you (Romans 3:24). Are you ready for the Lord’s return? Or will you experience His wrath?

Christ will remove all born-again believers from the earth in an event known as the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-181 Corinthians 15:51-54). At the judgment seat of Christ, these believers will be rewarded for good works and faithful service during their time on earth or will lose rewards, but not eternal life, for lack of service and obedience (1 Corinthians 3:11-152 Corinthians 5:10).

The Antichrist (the beast) will come into power and will sign a covenant with Israel for seven years (Daniel 9:27). This seven-year period of time is known as the “tribulation.” During the tribulation, there will be terrible wars, famines, plagues, and natural disasters. God will be pouring out His wrath against sin, evil, and wickedness. The tribulation will include the appearance of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, and the seven seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments.

About halfway through the seven years, the Antichrist will break the peace covenant with Israel and make war against it. The Antichrist will commit “the abomination of desolation” and set up an image of himself to be worshiped in the Jerusalem temple (Daniel 9:272 Thessalonians 2:3-10), which will have been rebuilt. The second half of the tribulation is known as “the great tribulation” (Revelation 7:14) and “the time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7).

At the end of the seven-year tribulation, the Antichrist will launch a final attack on Jerusalem, culminating in the battle of Armageddon. Jesus Christ will return, destroy the Antichrist and his armies, and cast them into the lake of fire (Revelation 19:11-21). Christ will then bind Satan in the Abyss for 1,000 years and He will rule His earthly kingdom for this thousand-year period (Revelation 20:1-6).

At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be released, defeated again, and then cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:7-10) for eternity. Christ then judges all unbelievers (Revelation 20:10-15) at the great white throne judgment, casting them all into the lake of fire. Christ will then usher in a new heaven and new earth and the New Jerusalem—the eternal dwelling place of believers. There will be no more sin, sorrow, or death (Revelation 21–22).

The Coming Convergence

(available on Amazon Prime and PureFlix)

The Coming Convergence is a brand new film to be released on March 28th by Brent Miller Sr., founder and Executive Director of Ingenuity Films. This is the award winning California based studio behind “The Final Prophecies” documentary and the critically acclaimed “Decoding the Future” prophecy series.

This is the story of a young girl (Erin Hawkins) that wakes up one day to discover that something devastating has happened in the world around her and she finds herself in what is known as “The Great Tribulation.” She realizes that she had the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as her Savior, but she didn’t, and now she is facing her unbelievable and greatest fears. She faces the reality of the approaching apocalypse, as she is living through the end of days. Her words of warning are a wakeup call to the horrors mankind will soon face. The conclusions of The Coming Convergence explains both how the scenarios described within Revelation are converging before our very eyes and why everything that must come to pass is of man’s choosing.

We ask ourselves…”Is is possible to know the day of our demise?”

Jesus chastised religious leaders in ancient Jerusalem for not knowing the time of His first arrival. Will the prophesied final generation today make the same mistake? The Bible foretells that the end of days would be preceded by a sequence of global events that has never before occurred, but can this be proven? Through newly exposed geological and statistical evidence, a convergence of events has now been discovered that many believe finally prove the Tribulation is about to begin!

This whistleblower film breaks the mold of what a documentary can be by pulling you deeper into the reality of the approaching apocalypse.

The young girl’s cinematic interruptions throughout the documentary act as a warning to the genuine reality humankind will soon face. The conclusion of The Coming Convergence leaves such an impact that attendees during the film's theatrical premiere in California were driven to tears and shock.

This film features Jack Hibbs, Ray Bentley, Douglas Hamp, Brent Miller, Sr., Tom Hughes and Kade Hawkins.

7 Year Tribulation - Starts with the Signing of the Peace Coenant Between Israel and the Many

A Very High Level of Prophetic Excitement

A Very High Level of Prophetic Excitement :: By Dave Hubley

https://www.raptureready.com/2022/10/05/a-very-high-level-of-prophetic-excitement-by-dave-hubley/

(There is a special message at the end of this article for those who might happen to read this and do not have Jesus in their life and are looking for peace and a way to better understand the present-day insanity and confusion.)

There is currently a very high level of prophetic excitement.

Not misplaced excitement.

Not irrational excitement.

Not “pie in the sky by and by” excitement.

But real, rational, “Prophetic Scripture-Becoming-Reality” excitement.

The convergence of prophesied events/conditions/circumstances is breathtaking.

While we have to remember that the Rapture will happen in the Lord’s perfect timing and make a sober assessment of what we see in the myriad signs breaking out all throughout creation, it is exciting to witness them all at once as they currently seem to be.

When believers gather together for Bible studies now, more often than not, the conversation turns to a “Look Up, For Your Redemption Draws Near” kind of excitement.

A Crown of Righteousness excitement and a Blessed Hope excitement!

Best of all, I’m not exaggerating, and I don’t need to, at least in my circles, and certainly not on sober, serious and Biblically-based, prophecy-based websites.

At the same time, it must be said, there is a heightened sense of sadness for the people who will simply not be willing to bow the knee to the only One who can save them.

The signs that the Lord Jesus plainly stated will occur at “the time of the end” are currently on full and open display, and we must pray without ceasing for the lost and for those who are searching.

And we must witness at every opportunity.

“There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among the nations, bewildered by the roaring of the sea and the surging of the waves. Men will faint from fear and anxiety over what is coming upon the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:25-28).

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains” (Matthew 24:6-8).

In only the last week, there have been numerous weather anomalies, severe earthquakes (many now in 6.0 or higher category), hurricanes/typhoons, and other indicators that these prophesied conditions would become the “new normal.” They are increasing just as birth pangs immediately precede the birth itself.

Economic conditions are on an undeniable fast track to disaster, and this is caused and being exacerbated with intent to destroy any trace of independence and freedom.

Although it is undeniably occurring worldwide, America appears to be the primary target at this point in time, even from within.

Everyday necessities will soon be out of the reach of all but the wealthy. Many people who imagine themselves to be wealthy (and therefore secure) will soon be hit with a hard dose of reality.

“In that day men will cast away to the moles and bats their idols of silver and gold—the idols they made to worship. They will flee to caverns in the rocks and crevices in the cliffs, away from the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to shake the earth. Put no more trust in man, who has only the breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?” (Isaiah 2:20-22)

The human condition has also become untenable in terms of its ongoing degradation and downward spiral. These and other passages contained in God’s Word, and provided to all who will listen, testify to the reality of the present day.

*(Romans 1:18-32); (2 Peter 3:3-7); (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Read them for yourself and decide how real these activities are and how rampant they now are.

*If you do not have a Bible but desire to confirm the accuracy of the above scripture passages as they apply to the present day, they can be accessed on [Bible Hub.com] or by opening the Word of God for yourself.

Bibles are still readily available, but this, too, is a condition that will eventually change (Amos 8:11).

If you do have a Bible but have forgotten about it, perhaps it is time to dust it off and become familiar with the revealed Word of God. It could save your eternal soul.

If in reading these realities, you feel convicted and do not know what to do, there is a special message for you at the end of this article.

Interestingly, many secular websites and news media are (oftentimes) inadvertently joining in the conversation via their speculation. In the process of reporting(?), they are confirming the Truth of that which the Word of God has warned about from Genesis to the hard realities of the book of Revelation.

God’s Inerrant Word is coming to vibrant and sobering everyday life.

Many people you come into contact with during normal(?) everyday activities are wondering, “what on earth is going on?”

You can’t miss it!

And in this is our opportunity to witness to them that the real question is, “what in the heavens is going on!”

But, my brothers and sisters, put on the full Armor of God and be willing to endure “the looks” that you may receive in the process of fulfilling our responsibilities to the Lord.

One short sentence from our Lord Jesus, “Well done my good and faithful servant,” will be worth truckloads of blank or hostile stares, open skepticism, and miles and miles of negative responses.

For those of us who witness these things, they are familiar “looks” indeed, but the evidence of our message is mounting and has now reached the point where it must be willfully ignored, brushed aside, or openly denied.

This is no longer so easy to do in 2022 when the sense by so many people everywhere is that “something is up.”

Best of all, these present circumstances are opening doors for the Holy Spirit to convict and convince the unsaved who might otherwise be unwilling to hear with their ears and see with their eyes what those eyes and ears are plainly showing them.

It appears that the much longed-for Blessed Hope may be very soon indeed.

“looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).

In the ancient and last book in the Old Testament, the book of Malachi, the Nature and Spirit of God are evidenced.

“Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name. ‘They will be Mine,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.’ So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him” (Malachi 3:16-18).

This book was written to the Hebrews to call their attention to the fact that God remembers those who fear and revere Him and that He would act at His appointed time, and they would be His.

Written by that same Spirit of the Sovereign Lord, who knew that the next intervention in human existence by Him would involve the first coming of His Son, Jesus The Messiah.

That He would shift His focus to the church built upon the Solid Foundation of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, and it would be comprised of a people who love Him, fear Him with a Godly fear, esteem Him, and are called by His Blessed Name: Christians.

We do not set dates, but we do watch the seasons and prepare ourselves.

“And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!” (Mark 13:37)

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life:

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

  • Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).

  • Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).

  • That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

  • To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.

  • Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross.

  • To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

  • No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.

  • No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.

  • Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

John 5:24: “Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life.”

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God with all your heart, He will hear you. “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).

Evangelicals and Black Protestants were most likely to say the apocalypse is imminent

A large swath of Americans across the religious spectrum believe they are living in the last days of humanity, a recent study showed.

Nearly two in five Americans, including both Christians and the religiously unaffiliated, responded affirmatively when asked if they believe "we are living in the end times," according to a Pew research study published last month.

The study addressed Americans' views regarding the earth, environmentalism and climate change, but a specific portion addressed respondents on their views about the end of the world.

At 58%, a majority of respondents did not believe they were living in the end times, but approximately four in 10, or 39%, said they believe they are.

Nearly two in five Americans, including both Christians and the religiously unaffiliated, said they believe "we are living in the end times."

Most of those who believe the end is near were self-professed Christians, 47% of whom believe they are living in the last days. The study further broke down the statistics to determine that 14% of such Christians believe that the end of the world will culminate with the return of Jesus Christ and that the conditions of the world will worsen until then.

Black Protestants (76%) and evangelicals (63%) were the most likely to believe they are living in the end times.

HERE'S WHY CHRISTIAN SCHOLARS WHO STUDY END TIMES SAY THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD

Mainline Protestants (31%) and Roman Catholics (27%) were less likely to assert they are living in the last days.

Christians have historically differed on the specifics of how the world will end, with some believing many end-times prophecies in the Bible were fulfilled during the first century, while others believe many have yet to be fulfilled. According to the Apostles' Creed, one of Christianity's oldest historic statements of faith, all Christians believe Jesus "will come to judge the living and the dead."

Among those who adhere to a non-Christian religion, nearly three in 10 (29%) said they think the world is wrapping up. A quarter of U.S. adults overall said they believe they are living at the end of the world but do not hold such specific views about how it will take place, according to the study.

Among the other findings of the study, those who believe humanity is in its last days are less likely than their counterparts to say climate change is an extremely or very serious problem (51% vs. 62%).
